1. Why is an AED needed for small businesses?
Sudden Cardiac Arrest can occur anywhere, anytime including at the office and at work. In fact, about 10,000 cardiac arrests occur in the workplace each year. Having an AED in your business increases the chances of survival by providing immediate, lifesaving treatment while waiting for emergency medical services to arrive. Quick access to an AED can make a significant difference in saving lives in your workplace.
Avive’s Small Business Package comes with everything you need to launch your business’ AED program - wall signage, a charge stand, a rescue kit, and even an extra Pad Cartridge for backup.
2. What are the benefits of having an AED program at your workplace?
Having an AED program at your workplace, first and foremost, shows your employees that you care about their safety and wellbeing. AEDs enhance the overall culture of safety at your facility. Well implemented AED programs save lives by equipping staff and visitors with the tools to provide prompt treatment in the critical moments following Sudden Cardiac Arrest.
Explore the full benefits of having an AED in your workplace.
3. Why should an office have an AED?
Offices and workplaces should have AEDs because Sudden Cardiac Arrest can happen to anyone regardless of age, health, and gender. Many people spend significant portions of their day at work, and having an AED readily available increases the likelihood of survival in the event of a cardiac emergency. Having an AED in your office is a proactive step toward ensuring a safe and prepared environment for employees and visitors.
4. How to use an AED in the office?
Using an AED in the office is straightforward, and the Avive Connect AED is designed specifically for untrained users and lay responders. It is a fully automatic defibrillator that provides full audio and visual instructions as well as CPR guidance.

REALConnect™ Platform
AED management made easy
- Remote monitoring with daily self check
- Near real-time notifications
- Customize settings for your devices from your online account
- Wirelessly access Incident Data from an AED minutes after a use
A New Kind of AED Management
The smallest, lightest, FDA-approved AED on the market paired with its comprehensive REALConnect™ Platform are designed to offer businesses visibility into their AED programs and provides peace of mind through daily wireless monitoring and notifications.
Many of today’s AEDs require manual maintenance inspections regularly, which is expensive, time-consuming, and often inaccurate. If your AED(s) are non-compliant, it may jeopardize Good Samaritan liability protections, or worse, unusable to save a life when needed.
