1. What is a mobile AED?
A mobile AED - in contrast to a traditional, stationary AED - is one that is portable and can easily be taken from place to place. Mobile AEDs may be important for athletic departments, law enforcement officers who carry AEDs in their patrol vehicles, outdoor recreation facilities, medical drone delivery companies, and home users.
While the Avive Connect AED can be stored inside a cabinet like other traditional AEDs, its small size and weight makes it easy to travel with and take on-the-go. At 2.1lbs, the Avive Connect AED is a truly portable automated external defibrillator that can easily fit inside a backpack, suitcase, gym bag, and more.

2. What are the benefits of a portable AED?
Portable AEDs are generally more versatile and accessible than traditional AEDs because they are smaller, lighter, and designed to be mobile. Portable AEDs allow responders to quickly treat individuals experiencing cardiac arrest in diverse environments like outdoor events, athletic facilities, hiking trails, beaches, and more. The Avive Connect AED is the smallest, lightest FDA approved AED on the market at 2.1 pounds and is ultra-portable.
3. I bought an Avive Connect AED for my home. Should I bring my AED with me or leave it in one place?
Because Sudden Cardiac Arrest can happen to anyone, anytime, with little to no warning, it is never a bad idea to have your Avive Connect AED on your person as often as you can so that you’re always ready to respond!
Cardiac arrest is unpredictable, and with an ultra-portable AED that can easily be taken from place to place, there is no downside to bringing your AED with you. There is only the potential to use it and potentially save a life!
We provide a limited warranty to the original end user for our AED units and associated accessories. Our AED's are warranted for five (5) years from the date of shipment. If the AED is registered with the REALConnect™ maintenance services, the warranty is extended to eight (8) years. Disposable Avive Pad Cartridges are warranted until the expiration dates listed on the package. All other approved accessories are warranted for 90 days, or the expiration date, whichever is later.
